The heart of Dolce Vita 2.0 project is La Spezia, “wonderful seaside pearl”, a small city of about 100.000 inhabitants between Genoa and the leaning tower of Pisa.
This is where Sun-TIMES HeadQuarters had settled down, and this is where we wanna grow: because in a world becoming everyday flatter and flatter, we’re sure that solid social roots are definitely a plus, not a minus.
We love La Spezia because it’s the typical Italian town where you can still appreciate the real Sweet Lifestyle, without getting involved in the working chaos that already congested big metropolis like Milan or Rome.
In La Spezia neighborhoods are hidden some of the most wonderful spots of Italy. First among them, surely the world-renowned Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso), Unesco heritage listed, fishermen villages where you’ll be able to snorkel and swim taking advantage of breath-taking views.
The Poets’ Gulf, which already struck Lord Byron and Shelley in the 19th century, includes Lerici and Portovenere, with their wonderful castles.
Fun is not far away either: Tuscany is just few kilometers far from the city, and Versilia coasts will provide you with tons of discos to dance any kind of music among Italian VIPs or more quiet seaside bars, where to rest while drinking a mojito after a hard surfing (not only on the net) day.
Everything’s there in Italy: we’ll be glad to bring you to some wonderful Italian cities, such as Milan, 200 km away, Florence (a 2 hour-car ride), Turin. The airport of Pisa, just 90 km away, will get you to any place in Europe with low-cost companies such as Ryanair.
That’s why we consider La Spezia as the perfect base from which to leave to conquer the world, professionally – or not – speaking!
